What is Reiki?

Reiki (pronounced “RAY-key”) is a technique that was developed in Japan for stress reduction and healing. It is a method that uses light touch to increase and enhance life force energy for the purpose of healing. It is a simple and natural technique that is safe and complements all other treatment modalities. It is performed by the practitioner placing their hands and often there will be a sensation of warmth and relaxation as energy circulation is increased.

What are the Benefits of Reiki?

Reiki raises the healing energy for any situation including improving energy, mood, and vitality. It can be used to change unwanted habits, improve relationships, achieve goals, and enhance spirituality. Reiki can be added to any treatment session or done as a stand alone treatment. Reiki often begins with the practitioner scanning the energy field and then lightly placing their hands.  The session can be done remotely and distance techniques are used. Some of the conditions that can improve with Reiki are tension, stress, headaches, pain, stuck emotions, anxiety, and chronic conditions.
